Burnt By... features a manipulated rubber sponge with burnt circles and copper wires, resembling the constellation Coma Berenices. Inspired by the myth of Berenices' self-sacrifice, it symbolizes the enduring wounds on women's souls within socio-cultural contexts. The burns and oxidization of the copper wires serve as reminders of ancestral scars.
