Summer [ painting series*2020 ]
Summer was made in an intuitive process with reference from automated sketches. What is depicted in this process is a kind of diary about the effort to reach each other and maintain communication. The painting evokes the themes of far-near, disintegration, and communication dynamics. Thus, the work creates a kind of landscape and map of being stuck in increasing distances as experiences cease to be based on physical phenomena while trying to get closer to each other.
