Ayşegül Yapar is a visual artist and curator with a background in Visual Arts and Communication Design (BA/MA, Sabanci University) and Arts, Museology, and Curatorship (MA, University of Bologna). Her recent research investigates the intersections of humor, mobility, and spatial politics, navigating the transition between the domestic sphere and public space. Grounded in the socio-cultural landscape of Türkiye, her work examines how power is mediated through labor and institutional frameworks.
Ayşegül is also the co-founder of metr.cube, an artist-led initiative that utilizes mobility as both medium and method.
