Afiyet Olsun / Bon Appétit [2023]
Afiyet Olsun is a self-published artist book. The project brings together antique plates from my personal collection with short texts contributed by different authors, each story assigned to a specific plate. The work consists of 13 plates and 12 texts, referencing the convention of a table set for twelve—leaving one place intentionally unresolved.
The book’s structure invites readers to actively match each story to its corresponding plate, turning reading into a tactile and interpretive process. The texts span multiple genres, reflecting diverse voices gathered around a shared domestic setting. The binding and production were developed at BarınHan and released as a limited edition.
