Gewgaw [2022]
Gewgaw is an installation composed of 998 buttons assembled into a continuous cord and accompanied by plaster soap molds. Suspended from the ceiling and placed in proximity to one another, the elements establish a spatial relationship structured through verticality, gravity, and distance. The work foregrounds accumulation and material repetition, allowing simple gestures of placement to define the installation.
