Overseeing [2024]
The lace tablecloth is removed from its familiar domestic context and transformed into a new narrative device. Displayed stretched on the wall, the surface is altered through deliberate interventions: cut, layered, and pressed, it shifts between curtain, filter, and screen. The photographs that appear behind the lace reposition the viewer from observer to observed, establishing a reciprocal gaze. This dual perspective turns the act of looking into a form of exposure, where the subject and the viewer become mutually implicated.
