Torn & Blooming [2023]
Torn & Blooming is a sculptural work produced through a sequence of repetitive domestic gestures. Silicone elements were ironed, torn, and pinned onto a bed sponge, drawing on actions associated with care, maintenance, and repair. Carried out without a predetermined form, these gestures respond to material resistance and uncertainty, using repetition as a method of endurance rather than resolution.
